DevOps Engineer
We are Creed Media, an digital entertainment marketing company that focuses on building internal systems to better serve our customers. Our tech division is expanding, and we’re looking for a skilled remote DevOps Engineer capable of managing OpenShift environments.
About the role
In this role, you’ll play a critical part in maintaining our deployed platforms while also driving the deployment of new systems. You’ll collaborate closely with the team to plan for new features and their infrastructure requirements, ensuring our platforms meet the highest standards of data compliance, reliability, and performance to support our customers’ evolving needs.
Overall you will…
- Work with our GCP-based architecture.
- Maintain and monitor our OpenShift environment, ensuring things run smoothly and are up to date.
- Work on optimizing our CI/CD pipelines for speed and reliability by looking into our current processes and finding inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Closely collaborate with the development team to plan the architecture, deployment, and maintenance of services.
- Create development and staging environments, as well as optimizing our current production environment.
- Implement robust logging, reporting, and alerting systems across the platform.
- Help us with ensuring data compliance and security is always up to standard.
After 1 month you will...
- Onboard onto our team and current DevOps infrastructure.
- Understand the platform’s inner workings, not just from a technical standpoint but also from a practical one.
- Analyze all of our current DevOps systems and pipelines.
- Start suggesting ways in which we can optimize certain parts of the system.
-Perform some maintenance on our current OpenShift environment by updating the systems and making some minor optimizations.
After 2 months you will…
- Be familiar with our DevOps infrastructure.
- Be performing regular maintenance and applying regular updates to OpenShift.
- Have optimized various parts of our CI/CD systems.
- Analyzed the current DevOps infrastructure and developed a comprehensive plan to address all necessary improvements within our systems, ensuring readiness for future deployments.
After 3-5 months you will…
- Have improved our current production environment and established mirrored development and staging environments.
- Improved our CI/CD pipelines and overall infrastructure within OpenShift.
- Implemented comprehensive logging and alerting systems throughout OpenShift.
- Regularly collaborate with the development team to plan the architecture and deployment of new features.
Compensation and Benefits
The monthly salary range for this role is $4,000-$7,000 USD, which ranges depending on experience level and interview performance.

- Final Interview by Senior Leadership and Culture - In this final meeting you will discuss your personal vision and development and your alignment with the Company’s direction.
